thoughts on zidane. (who's awesome)
I'm so glad Zidane head-punched Materazzi in the chest... thats what you get for being such a fuckin' racist. I am SO FED UP with this racist bullshit and it's pissing me off. And the best part is Materazzi's response,
"I did insult him, it's true,'' Materazzi said in Tuesday's Gazzetta dello Sport. ''But I categorically did not call him a terrorist. I'm not cultured and I don't even know what an Islamic terrorist is.''
Clearly he's not cultured... but not knowing what an Islamic terrorist is? What a fn asshole.. This sport is all about politics and power relations, perhaps it is why I am getting so head over heels for it and its invoking way too much emotion in me. But this whole incident is just making me so mad and the media is taking it out of proportion and hardly giving Zidane all the credit he deserves... What diffused my madness was his receiving the Golden Ball - he absolutely deserved it.
...And I dont care what anyone thinks, that punch was well deserved, he should have head-punched him in the face where it would've have hurt a bit more.
