(no subject)
man oh man. I got strep throat. again. this makes 4 times in the past calendar year. the doctor wants to take my tonsils out and i heard that that can really suck for a guy my age but i'll just have to do it. i'm still on my parent's insurance anyway. and it is the summer.
A few days ago was my friend sarah's birthday party and I gotta confess i did not have fun at all. I was actually pretty mean about it at the time. I kept complaining about how it was hot and i was hungry cuz i hadn't ate that day and I had a headache and I was tired cuz i had to babysit that day. I tried to find any excuse to get out of that place, which included an hour-and-a-half-trip-to-go-get-sarah-something-from-kroger excursion. I kinda felt bad being gone for so long, but nobody really noticed. they were all drunk.
I should prolly appologize for not being as friendly as i could have been, but I'm sure Sarah will read this. lol. also I have a really good excuse- I was definitly sick then. I know i had a fever that night and i know that the headache that i had was unrelenting. If you ever get strep throat, take pain medicine. I can handle the soreness of my throat, but the headaches i get when I have strep are the worst i've ever had. ever. ELVUH!
I'm also not excited about having these grapefruit sized tonsils out. I'm excited about being strep free and being able to breathe, but I hear it really really hurts. my parents both had theirs out when they were really young. back when it was popular. they will have no i-dea what kind of pain i'll be in so i'll be free to exaggerate and make them get me stuff because "I'M IN SO MUCH PAIN."
you should have seen the dress i got sarah. sure I'm a little dissapointed that she'll never wear it, but hopefully she'll hang it on her wall or something like this cool-girl I know.
