For my musically inclined friends...
I am going to be decorating a bedroom in a rock-n-roll theme for a 13 year old. I was wondering if any of you might have some items that you are no longer in need of that would fit the theme, that I could recycle into decor items...
He actually likes a lot of the rock that we remember...Metallica, Kiss, ZZ Top, Led Zeppelin, etc...
Some ideas I had...
* a non-functioning amp box or good-sized speaker to turn into a nightstand
* some vinyl/album covers to turn into wall decor
* unused or broken musical instruments
* old rock posters
Let me know if you have any items that you would like to get rid of along these lines...
Also, since many of you are also crafty types...if you have any ideas...let me know!

EDIT: I am also looking for speakers (the old-fashioned kind with the removable covers).
