Amazing
Hello everyone,
How is life? Good to hear it.
You know, about 4 months ago, I ended about a 14 month long relationship. Life is funny. You can be with someone and think that it's the greatest thing in the world. Even when everyone around you tells you that it's not right. They say that you are in a bad situation and you need to get out. But, "love" can cause you to ignore your friends and not pay any attention to common sense. You trust your heart instead of your brain. This is probably the biggest mistake you could make. In that situation you cheat yourself and question your own intelligence.
Well, eventually things go sour. You look at your life and realize that it is only ashes of the dreams you once had. I think everyone has made the mistake of choosing "love" for someone else over your own passions and goals. When it is all over, you are left with nothing. Hopefully your friends that you ignored will forgive and forget and hopefully you have a safety net to fall into.
I dont have to get into gory details or say hurtful things to make myself feel better. I know I'm in the right. I have a great girl, I have my great friends, and I'm back in the town that I love, Canonsburg.
A week or so ago, I took Meghan to Uniontown to hang out with my friends. I was very surprised at how they hit it off. I've always used my buddy Steve as a judge on my choices. No one knows me better than Steve. He really liked Meg. He says she's a "keeper". haha. We will see about that! just kidding. Other girls in the past he wasn't so keen on and I overlooked his opinion.
Today, I have to go to my old job and pick up my last paycheck. I'm very excited. I want to mark it as the LAST TIME I ever step foot into Beaver County. That is always a reason to celebrate. haha.
No more misery, no more smiling through pain, its a new chapter....a new beginning.
