Minor Freak Accident Update
My daughter saw an orthopedist today. He ordered more X-rays. These showed the needle migrating towards the joint, so she goes into surgery tomorrow. :( General anasthesia for the second time this year. Oy.
Will probably cancel my morning class to accompany husband and child. Surgery begins at 11:00 a.m. Afterward I'll leave around 1:30 to teach my 2:30 class. I think that works.
Had a bizarre conversation in which my mom tried to talk me out of going to surgery with child. Why did I have to explain the concept of supporting one's child through an ordeal? Never mind. [Insert adult Devin_chain whining like a teenager about her negligent parents here.]
