What is this? An update?!?!
I'm having a good time lately, besides when me and my dad are at war. This weekend has been particularly nice, it's my last weekend during school..and then summer! This weekend's been awesome..I did a lot so far. Friday I went out to dinner, had the best ribs of my life (the were so huge and meaty that they resembled the ribs that knocked the Flinstones' car over) and then went to my cousin's after. She'd been in the hospital for a few weeks recently so I wanted to spend some time with her, we hung out and sang karaoke and all that, it was fun. I missed a night out with my friends though, but I made up for that last night.
So yesterday, me and Timm are swimming at his grandparents' house..I jump off an 8 foot high dive. I've jumped off higher ones, but that was into deeper pools..so I was freaking out and scared (I'm scared of heights). It took me 20 minutes to get the nerve to jump..ahha. I felt like an idiot. I was worried I'd whack my head off the side of the pool or something. After that we decided that we wanted to go do something else tonight..and after Timm took forever to get ready again, flipped out over losing a make-up bag (yes, he's gay), and had some people over who got mad because we ditched them, we decided we were going into the Fall's to go to a giant arcade on Clifton Hill. So we go to my house, ask my dad for money and directions, put makeup on and do our hair, and then we left. We got to Clifton Hill, found that it was bumper to bumper trafic..it took us half an hour to move like 20 metres. It was even harder trying to find a parking spot, without having to pay. We ended up about a 15 minute walk from there in front of a restaurant. We went into the arcade..within an hour we were out of money. The first game I played was where I stuck a token in, and it would land on something to decide how many tokens I got. My first one landed on the jackpot, so I got like 200 tokens. We played games towards the beginning..but then we discovered the fun in the machines that you try to knock more tokens out. We ended up with 761 tickets, which isn't an outrageous amount, but it's the most we've ever gotten. We got matching princess crowns, cute key chains, a shotglass, and a disco ball keychain. We walked around wearing our crowns a bit, but then we decided we wanted to go somewhere else.
We chose the beach. We drove to Nickel Beach and discovered that they lock it up at night now because they don't want people swimming for free. Assholes. They even put barbed wire above the fence and closed a hole in the fence with it. We wouldn't admit defeat though, we walked down this creepy path until we saw an opening to the beach..we didn't exactly see an opening, but we found a way to walk across the rocks that were uncovered when the tide went out. We walked across those until we got to sand and then just walked to the swimming area from there. Take that, Nickel Beach owners! It was a little chilly out there, so we'd decided we were only going to go in up to our knees. So much for that, somehow we ended up kicking water at eachother until we were soaked. We sat in the water for a while, then we went to lay down on the picic tables to dry off a bit. After we got dressed we went to go back to the car and found it a bit difficult..we couldn't see where we'd come from. After we found the path again, it was even creepier than the last time. We literally clung to eachother's arms it was so creepy. We were happy to get to the car again. So, you'd think we'd be tired and drained by then, since it was 2:30 am and we'd been running around all night. Nope, screw that, we were singing at the top of our lungs to loud music all the way home.
I know, I write too much, but whatever. I had a kickass time. If Timm wasn't gay, that would've been one kickass date. Lol
