Project: Black Ghost (space opera)

Present Total Word Count: 1117 words (yes, I've gone backwards)
Goal: 100,000 words
Things Accomplished in Real Life: relatively busy weekend that included laundry and taking advantage of tax-free weekend. Also finished reading Stephenie Meyer's New Moon, and celebrated the first NFL pre-season game by wearing my Titans jersey!
Things Accomplished in Fiction: not a damn thing. I actually wrote 1060 words last night, but I trashed them all. My brain was not in a good place, and by time I did think of an angle I liked that I could move forward with, I just couldn't function in terms of getting it onto the page. It has to do with groove, and I didn't have it.
Reason for Stopping: Had to submit what I had for deadline, and so I started fiddling with Scrivener to learn how to export my files in the manner I thought I could. This took almost an hour as I kept testing, viewing tutorials, etc. I still don't think I've figured it all out, but I made some headway. Also, frustrated as HELL.
