I suppose it's no mystery why Laurel and I can't go into public without everybody thinking we're a couple. If you get right down to it, we exhibit the two things that every couple exudes when out in public:
1. An ease of conversation that only having a common sense of humor and very few secrets/flaws hidden from the other person can produce, and
2. A complete lack of sexual tension.
I suppose we're comparable on the desirability scale, both in terms of socioeconomic and physical rubrics.
Then again, i'm probably putting too much thought into this and it's just because you can't have friends of the opposite sex without people thinking something's up.
