Saturday, finally. This week went bye so slow, especially because I had a million things to do. I had a Spanish test on wednesday, a History test on thursday, a Math test on friday and the usual English test on friday. On top of that I had a Plant Science report due on friday, and an English thesis paper due on friday that i didn't get the outline back until friday's class period. Basically Thursday night I worked once I got home at quarter of 4, because I stayed after for math. I got home and started working and only stopped for my drum lesson, eating dinner and one maybe ten minute break at 11 to watch the end of ER because I was going insane. I was talking to a bunch of narragansett buds I haven't talked to in a while, and they all said junior year was a piece of cake. That is unbelievable. Schoolwork has never been this hard for me. Besides Gym, Pottery and Global Studies, I'm working my ass off. English isn't too abd either. But man, Math, Spanish and Plant Science are killing me. Plant Science I wass doing fine in, until I got that 0, which I'm not going to go into.
I hate this school so much right now. The only thing I had to look forward to was Duress playing what's still called song 4 at the Variety show. Well, there's a 99% chance that James can't play because he has to work. What sucks the most is we won't know for sure until that week. So, I've decided instead of putting all my faith into James getting out of work I'll simply put a band together for the sole purpose of playing at the variety show. So far I've gathered Dustin on guitar, Eric on lead guitar, and Jordan on vocals(I still haven't met him, but that's ok). I'm also going to ask Andrew to play bass and back up vocals. We need a keyboardist and I'm unsure who to get. I'm pretty set on playing In Flame's "Reroute to Remain" because it's a good song with good guitar and drums. Also, everyone can like In Flames, it's not as "scary" as Duress or anything I would've played with Throne of Ruin. My goal is to show off our musicianship and kick ass and not scare anyone, so it was either In Flames or Bodom, and Dustin and I had to vote against Bodom, although it would've kicked ass, it would have been nearly impossible because...well you know why. Damn you Alexi Laiho wherever you are! Damn you and your glory!
