How Do I Sleep?

Dec 02, 2010 21:38

Wooyoung splayed himself across the couch. His arms and legs reaching in every direction, his cover more on the floor then covering him and his hair in a disheveled mess. He couldn’t sleep. There wasn’t anything wrong, well not that he knew off, that should be keep him up. So what was the problem?  Could it be insomnia? Or maybe he just couldn’t get comfortable. The couch was becoming annoying.

Wooyoung rolled off the couch, landing rather uncomfortably on the floor, a few inches away from Chansung’s head. Of course the younger boy didn’t stir. He was known for sleeping like a sedated elephant. Wooyoung crawled around his head and down to the side of Chansung. He looked at him sleep. Trickles of drool rolled out of his mouth, puddling on the arm that supported his head. If Chansung was this knocked out then the floor had to be comfortable. Wooyoung lifted the cover that helped bury Chansung and slide under it. He laid on his left side, then his right, then his stomach. Nothing. By the time he rolled onto his back, Chansung had been completely void of cover and Wooyoung looked like a caterpillar getting ready to pop out of its cocoon.

“This is definitely not it.” Wooyoung said to himself.

He rolled over four times, unraveling himself from the covers. Standing up, he spread the cover out and laid it back across Chansung. Something had to give. Maybe he could get comfortable with the other members. None of them seemed to be having trouble sleeping on their beds. Maybe he ought to try to sleeping on one as well. Wooyoung walked to the closest room, the one that he was supposed to be sharing with Junho. He opened the door and stepped inside, being careful not to knock down any of the mounds of sneakers and packages. Once he caught sight of Junho, he burst out laughing, covering his mouth, to not wake him. Junho slept butt up. His face was placed comfortably on his pillow but his arms and legs were tucked tightly under his stomach, leaving his butt high in the air. How he didn’t have neck pains in the morning, Wooyoung wasn’t sure, but if Junho could sleep so comfortably maybe this bed was good for him too.

Junho slept in the middle of the bed, but with Wooyoung being so small, he didn’t need that much space to get comfortable. He pressed his body onto the bed and tried his best to relax. He laid on his left side, then his right and then his stomach. He even tried mimicking Junho’s position and stuck his bottom into the air.

“This is definitely not it.”

Wooyoung rolled himself off of the bed. He then left his and Junho’s room and headed for the one next to it. Junsu and Taec shared this room. They slept on bunk beds, so this seemed pretty problematic, but Wooyoung honestly didn’t care. He just wanted to go to sleep and if he found a comfortable spot on one of their beds, than his hyungs would have to DEAL WITH IT!!

Wooyoung stepped inside their room and was greeted with snores. Wooyoung walked over to the ladder that led to Junsu’s bed. He might as well start from the top and then if need be, work his way down. He climbed till he slightly hovered over Junsu. Wooyoung observed him as his right forearm covered most of his face and his leg dangled over the side of the bunk. The snores prominently came from him. People said that if you snore, you must be comfortable and since Junsu’s were almost earth shaking, he must have been comfortable.

“Hyung.” He whispered, lightly poking Junsu.

Junsu didn’t respond.

“Hyung.” He whispered a little louder.

Wooyoung jabbed Junsu in the side. He popped up.

“Hyung can I sleep with you.” He whispered.

“What time is it?” Junsu asked, not registering Wooyoung’s question.

“Who cares, move over.”

Wooyoung climbed the last few rungs of the ladder and laid on Junsu’s bed. He had expected complaints, but Junsu had fallen back to sleep before Wooyoung could really situate himself. He laid on his left side, then his right and then his stomach. Nothing was working! Every time he moved Junsu moved equally as much, and kept smacking him in the face with his arm. At this point, Junsu was pushing him into the side of the bunk bed, and his arm was weighing heavily on his head.

“This is definitely not it.”

Wooyoung moved Junsu’s arm off of him, scooted onto his knees and descended upon the ladder. This was truly becoming tedious. Would he get to sleep at all tonight, or would he be forced to stay up another night, listening to everyone enjoying their rest. He refused to look at the time, because as soon as he did, it would be time for them to get up and Wooyoung didn’t want to experience that.

He stepped down on to the floor with a sigh. He looked at his Hyung, before him. Was there even a point in trying to share a bed with Taec? Wooyoung looked at how his legs naturally dangled off of the bed, having nowhere else to go. His body was so muscular that bed almost matched his size. He was such a giant, he needed all the room he could get, but Wooyoung needed all the sleep he could get. And if Taec managed to get to sleep in such an uncomfortable position than the bed had to be comfortable. His needs definitely outweighed Taec’s. Wooyoung tapped on his shoulder lightly. Taec had always been a light sleeper, so when his eyes flickered open, Wooyoung wasn’t surprised.

“Hyung, do you mind?” Wooyoung whispered.

Taec just shook his head.

“Thank you.”

Wooyoung lifted Taec’s cover and slid under it. Taec scooted all the way to the wall, in order to give Wooyoung as much room as he could. He laid on his left side, then his right and then his stomach.

“This is definitely not it.”

“Is something wrong?” Taec croaked out.”

“I haven’t been able to sleep for the past few nights. Nowhere is comfortable.”

“Mmm.”

Wooyoung knew Taec was trying to be understanding, but he really wanted to go back to sleep.

“You know what, hyung. Thanks, but I’m gonna go.”

“Are you sure?” he mumbled.

“Yes, thanks...though.” Taec had fallen back to sleep before Wooyoung could get all of his words out.

Wooyoung slid from under Taec’s cover and stood. He quietly crept to the door and exited their room. Wooyoung was beginning to lose hope for sleep. He quietly walked across the living room and down the hall to Khun’s room. He opened the door and stepped inside. There was Chansung’s empty bed to his left and then the bed that Khun was occupying to the right.

Unlike Junho, Khun didn’t have any weird sleeping position. He slept on his left side, his left arm tucked under him and his legs bent. Unlike Chansung, there was no river flowing from his mouth. All of his saliva stayed in his mouth. Th only thing on his pillow was his face. And unlike Taec and Junsu, Khun made no sounds when he slept. His breathing was simple and almost rhythmically beautiful. Wooyoung felt his lids becoming heavy. If Khun was able to get to sleep without any type of trick than this had to be the place.

Instead of heading for the empty bed, Wooyoung lifted Khun’s covers and slid into his bed. He laid on his back, then his left side, then his stomach and then his right side. Wooyoung came face to face with Khun. He looked at him, threw heavy lids and let Khun’s breathing carry him.

“This is definitely it.” He whispered to himself before falling asleep.

A/N: I hope everyone enjoyed!!!!

I had to take a little break from To Thailand, With Love, cuz if I didn't, I wud have offed myself. lol
I didn't think ending the fic wud be this hard. i guess thats one of things about writting free-hand that does not come in handy. I wrote a whole shit load of stuff, but it's soooo useless!!! lol like im think of starting over and just making everything i wrote a delted scene. lol i never usually do this, cuz im lazy as fuck when it comes to writing, so once i put it down, it stays there.

Also im trying to take comments and include them and alot of what ppl want, i wasnt planning on doing, but then i thought why not? but if i do it, then ill have to think of a completely new direction to go in and ive had this direction from the beginning. like i wrote the fic around this direction. im trying not to give it away, but it's hard.

Also, I don't think it's gonna be that many more chapters maybe two. lol I know I sed 10 chaps, but i dont see the need and someone asked for longer chaps, so if i give longer chaps than i can finish it faster. yay me!!!! and then go onto the other stories that i have in my queue and the little oneshots i pull out of nowhere, in between.

um, i plan on being down with Parenthood in like 5 chapters, so expect long ones, or average one. as long as i get my point across. of course, i planned on this being 5 chapters. lol Idk how many chaps Babby Daddy's will have, that one's gonna require some though on my part. lol i look forward to it. After that i think i want to venture into another group fic. not really a couple one..

Oh and ive been working on this series for like ever called the "Fantasy Reel" currently i only have one fic in it, but the ideas are there. i have to finish up the first one. It's like pure smut. lol there is no real back story, but they are written off of popular fantasies. It's a Asian Men/Black Women/White Women/Asian Women series. lol so the women aren't anybody, but the men are def idols. but i like having it anonymous through out the whole thing so u can put ur idol into it. so idk if I'll post that on the fic sites, ill prob just post it here. and if u have a fantasy that u want me to make into a fic for that series, u can message me and ill get on it, but not like now. ill say when.

Ok, i think that's everything. lol
