Ranting, Beta, Big Bang, Good and Bad Things
It's four in the morning.
I'm not drunk enough to be this awake at four in the morning.
The Good News:
- E.S. Posthumus has a new album out. I've already downloaded that bitch, and it's fucking amazing.
- I wrote 2,000 words in my Big Bang today, and all the pieces are fitting together. I'm confident I'll be able to finish it. ♥
- My computer has a webcam. My computer has a webcam, what is this?
- My computer opens and closes without punching a baby in the face. I swear, you don't miss the little things until you've gotten a hinge that crawled straight out of the depths of Satan's fiery anus.
- Oh my God, E.S. Posthumus, stop being amazing. I am listening to the album right now, and am getting chills. Just, alkdls;ak. Have a listen.
- I wrote a new song last night! Whoop dee!
- THERE'S MORE GOOD NEWS I SWEAR, I just can't really remember it at the moment.
The Bad News
- There is a giant fucking cockroach thing that is bigger than my thumb that has been hanging out in my shower since 3pm today and it has not left and it's way too big and ugly for me to dare getting close enough to try and kill it, and shut up, I'm being stereotypically female. D:
- As a result of the giant bug, I washed my hair in the sink. At 3am. Because I have work tomorrow. At 11am. It is now 4am. Oh dee.
The depth of my pessimism can be measured by the size of my box.

And since I am now officially ranting, let me go on to say that I have another Dean/Cas story idea that I can't quite get out of my head, and I really don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing. Because that makes about 4 different stories backed up in my brain now, and I'm pretty sure I won't be able to write them all. Ohgod, mind. Stop putting yourself on overload.
It's fairly simple and branches off from this latest episode, so if you haven't seen S05E18, please don't read beyond here because this is a big fat SPOILER WARNING.

Okay, so right after Cas beats the shit out of Dean and hauls his ass back to Bobby's place, the storyline turns AU. Because I was thinking, what if, right then, future!Cas popped up, and everyone was all, ohshi--.
I've even got the "how" and the "why" worked out, though it's a bit twisty. Mainly, I'm just a whore for future!Cas/past!Dean interaction. There needs to be more fiction about those two, because a;sldksla;.
(You'll have noticed that I consider flailing an appropriate answer to just about anything.)
ON A VERY IMPORTANT SIDE NOTE: Now that it's getting down to the wire for spn_j2_bigbang, I'm in search of a beta to look over what I've got so far and to kick my ass into finishing it. I already have one friend proofing the story, but it would really help to have another pair of eyes to just glance over and make sure I haven't done anything stupid. Because I do. Tend to do that. Stupid things.
SO IF YOU ARE INTERESTED, OR WANT MORE INFORMATION, just let me know. I've got the whole thing written out on a Gdoc, which makes editing and all that infinitely easier if you have a gmail account.
