PRIDE;
seven great things about yourself
(Most of these are music-related.)
1. I once wrote an ensemble piece for eight cellos in the course of three days (for music camp), and it's been played at various public events (including a nation-wide cello workshop with over 60 cellists playing the song) ever since.
2. I've written several orchestral songs that have been performed throughout the years, one of which I got to conduct. (It also won an award at a state-wide event.)
3. The most I've ever written is 13,000 words in one day, and 28,000 in three.
4. My friend called me up at 1am the other night, asking for a ride to the emergency room. I accompanied her, despite the fact that I myself was sick, bought her popsicles, and was out 'til 4am driving her around/making sure she was okay. Yes, I'm oddly proud of this. >>
5. I convinced an entire room of college students that I was their age, and got to drink yummy wine as a result.
6. I've written enough guitar/vocal songs to fill up two albums, and have been a featured performer at my very own show.
7. I've somehow managed to land and keep the two best friends in the entire fucking world, slothfulzel and sin_unforgiven.
