A toast
I'd like to dedicate this entry to my two dearest friends Melissa and Nathan.
Melissa has always told me that I can be strong no matter how beaten up by the world I am. She has been my biggest supporter when anything happens and has never hesitated to pull herself away from anything to be there for me. She has been my friend when I was a young, middle school, awkward, ugly little chic and has picked up almost a decade later as if we were never apart. She tells me I'm strong when I'm sad and loved when I'm alone and reminds me that I'm a good person when my self esteem is at its lowest and never fails to remind me each time we speak to believe in God and that I have friends who really care. All of this has been without fail or hesitation and she has always given more to me and others without ever asking for anything in return.
This is also to Nathan who immediately adopted me as a friend. He has been the second, next to Melissa, to want to stick up for me in any situation and has taken the duty of being my female friend when Melissa couldn't talk. Without having to know me at all he took me into his house as a long time friend with immediate trust and happiness. He too has been there always willing to hold my hand through bad times and remind me that it will always get better, no matter how bad it may be.
So I dedicate this entry to one of the sweetest, most loving couples I know. To two people who will go out of their way just to make sure others dont' spend more than 2 minutes in a frown. Who are never selfish but always supporting and nothing short of amazing. To two people who always made sure I was never alone, never feel un needed or wanted, never feel sad and never feel like the world is a bad place.
I can only hope this will bring you two atleast some of the comfort, happiness and security you have always given me.
