Brother, I'm such a sucker...
So this is almost a week late in noting, but I got accepted into Hot Rod Bettie's tattoo school. Wee fun! So that's my good news. Class starts September 6th with the projected graduation date of 6/6/06. Yeah, I kid you not, its gonna say 666 all over my certificates of completion or diploma or whatever it is that they give you at the end of it all. Renee (the instructor) told me that and I was like "Oh, that's a *good* omen, right?" *mewls* Very funny, I thought. So this week the big project is trying to get my work schedule changed in order to MAKE IT TO class on time and allow for enough time to get to work after the fact. Human Resources was less than encouraging about it, based on the hours I work now and the change I'm asking to make. It didn't sound promising that I'd be able to change my schedule, but we'll see. I guess... If they can't change it I'll quit. I mean, what else can I do? I've waited a year to do this, aint nothing gonna get in my way now. I'm trying to be positive and think that it'll work out in the end and I'll get to change to part time hours and keep my job (and thus have gasoline monies and the like) and everything will be fine. See, thinking positive! Yes! So they told me to bring in some proof that I'm enrolled in school today and they'd get the ball rolling. We'll see. :)
I'm listening to this live version of Questions and Lies by Free Dominguez and man, I love her music. I loved when she was singing with Kidneythieves but I like her solo stuff so much, almost better in a way. And her MySpace site is not letting me download it even though its got a little downloady link! Gah! Alas, its very sad. She never comes to Oregon so maybe one day if I ever go back to California I'll have to try and catch her live, cuz damn... *sighs*
I'm supposed to go hang out with my brother today, watch that new Hellraiser movie, whats it called... Deader? I dunno. The newest straight-to-dvd Hellraiser movie. And then its off to work, blah.
