(no subject)
Well, I've got about five minutes before I have to go to work, but I had to write down this dream I had--
Ok. Dream.
So we were somewhere in the wilds of the Oregon Rainforest, along side a river where there was lots of tall grass. There were lots of evil military types. I say evil not simply because I don't care for military types, but that they were obviously the bad guys. There was this girl named Ada there with them, turns out she was one of the leaders of the group. Somehow things had gone horribly wrong for her and the troops had turned on her. One of the other guys ripped off her face. Now, I wasn't aware of it until right at that moment, but her face wasn't real at all. She was wearing some incredible face mask thing to hide the fact that her skin had been pretty amazingly... erased somehow. Not like a burn, not like a scar, just like her features weren't there. The mask she had made it impossible to tell, it moved and felt like real skin. She was obviously incredibly tormented and had evil tendencies on top of it, I was instantly smitten. The rest of her team left and we were there alone and I picked up her mask. She didn't say anything so I put it back over her face, smoothed it around the edges so it was seamless with her own skin again and then I kissed her. Gah, swoon. I love bad girls.
Anyway, she took me to this place up river. I was barefoot and the grass was warm. There were large holes in the ground like some giant gophers lived there, but it turns out it was really this gigantic python that had dark red scales and black stripes. It was slithering in and out of the ground and I could see its thick body between its burrow holes. Fucking creepy. All I could think was 'dear god, not on my bare feet!' I have a foot thing, its terrifying. Then this little bear cub came up and bit the snake's middle and pulled it out of the hole and I was flipping out over it. The snake writhed and tossed its head around and struggled to get away, coils upon coils of pissed of giant snake flinging and whipping around on the ground around this little bear. And then a big german shepard came up and started fighting with the bear over the snake and they ripped it in half. The dog had the head half and it was still alive and huge and pissed and it whipped around and bit Ada in the shoulder. Ugh, horrible. It was so creepy and I was so pissed that she would take me somewhere with such big snakes knowing how much I don't like them! Especially when I'm without my boots! Creepy!
