So, there's this movie...
I finally got around to watching Fighter in the Wind after owning it for over a year! It was a saturday evening that I popped it in.
Hmmm... then I watched it again. About five minutes in Jimmy stopped in. He paused in the living room and asked what I was watching. So I told him. He sat down and watched the whole thing.
Minus the frolicking slow-motion bit of the main bad-ass and his geisha girlfriend. 'Yay! It's water! Splashity splash splash! Roll cheesy romantic music!' I reached for the remote at that point and fast forwarded past it to the mountain side endurance training then the subsequent ass beating that was close to the rest of the movie.
The only parts I did not enjoy were the dumb romancy bits and the absolutely most tepid love scene ever!
Plus it had bad ass from City of Violence. I think I need to own that one too.
On the agenda... Stargate SG-1, the Arc of Truth is coming out in march! Hooray! Lets sum up the end of the show that got canceled after ten years! Also, Tin Man is coming out around the same time! It's a Sci-fi remake or interpretation of The Wizard of Oz. I hope it isn't crap!
I got a new tattoo on monday afternoon on the back of my forearm. I had to sit with my elbow on a cushion and my arm folded back far enough that my fingertips were completely numb by the time it was done. Was worth it though. It turned out awesome!
