Two minute freak out
I'm about to go to my two classes today at college and I'm slightly freaking out. I have a presentation in Music about a band I really love. Well obviously I chose the GazettE and hte song I chose was the live version of Taion from Decomposition Beauty because it's the most powerful punch in the gut of why I love this band so much because that performance was so hauntingly gorgeous.
So now I'm having a split second freak out pondering whether or not it was a good decision to choose Taion and not something more...listener friendly I guess. I mean the story behind Taion is one everyone knows and I'm wondering if maybe it was a bad idea to pick that song but at the same time it's fucking Taion and that song slays me and makes me bawl every single time I hear it.
But I'm scared my teacher will side eye me and ask why I thought it was a good idea. And the only thing that comes into my head is 'Well I'm sorry that not all songs are about drugs and sex and how much you can fuck someone. Some songs actually have meaning and actually are like poetry in song form. Like it's supposed to be!'
