DK1's Pre Katsucon 16 post! YAY! Benders, energy drinks, and sewing.
In all honesty this article had me LOLing my face off; The 6 Most Aggressively Ridiculous Benders in Modern History the ambulance girl actually was very cute... and more hammered than a board full of nails. HA! XD
Actually reading this made me wonder if i should bring the can of JOOSE Brian got for me when I went in on Saturday to help Daryl at BK. I was one of the 3 people who picked up the phone. And the only one who actually worked of the 2. [having a bloody freakin' snow ball fight while me and Aaron were inside working. Dude. WTF.] ...Actually reading the Wikipedia article about Joose has me wondering if i should bring it with me. aw man and it's the Mamba flavor, I'm not a huge fruit punch fan either. But i hate wasting it. And i bought a Malaysian anti stress drink because unlike Burger King, You can't really leave artist alley and you don't get breaks. EVER. and you aren't guaranteed to sell anything. The drink is called Novacaine. I imagine it'll help when the urge to punch people starts showing up.
ANYWAY, I bought like 12 different versions of instant Kohinoor paneer, and one methi palak since i love the creamed spinach and peas! Indian food RAAAAWKS! South main is a nearly impenetrable sheet of ice and snow. I know I walked, if you could call it walking, over there to get the DFC food for Katsu. It's freaking piled up on itself like mad up there.
whose leg do i have to hump to get an international reply cupon around here?
...and then I dreamed i was talking to simon pegg, and david tennant was there playing halo?! on the x box,... i liked his kimono fabric blazer. that thing was fly. In fact if i can find kimono fabric like that i'd totally make a blazer like that. HMMM, Ichiroya, Fabric Bolts, and Chuu has some nice stuff
Kyoto Antique has some pretty fabric too. Japanese Antiques has some really lovely fabric! Mukashi of Japan, Japanese Kimono Silk Fabric posted on Oiskas Lifestyle-Oiskas, Nordsams's fabric bolt listings found.

And lastly I out of the 39 measurements needed to make my own basic slopers, (the thing from which ALL sewing patterns come from) I managed to do 37! YAY!! Go me! I'm not a contortionist so the last 3 measurements need audience participation. and it took me long enough, I've had the book for over 4 years. Now I need some pin stripe fabric.
