While jaunting across the interwebs to find a kitsune mask pic (like you see in Japan) I came across this
blog post, which lead to the actual entertaining post on,
living between wednesdays, 1 of the few times i enjoyed reading the comments and there's even a link to other blogs that mention it, and it gets BETTER someone made a
bingo card which rocks, but since her blog is an awesome read that's to be expected! I may have to go read every post on this. and remember
everyone can read what you post if it's not private or friends locked. Yes folks, the media is watching you!
A hahahaha, yeah, that's
awesome. DK1 is not a Frank Miller fan. Anyway I found a similar thing, well similar to my frame of mind on this which is it caters to the lowest common denominator of the group it was aimed at, on the Smack Jeeves forum when someone was requesting BL manga that didn't have some of the top 10 yaoi cliche's. My first thought was "Ha ha those cliches are funny", my second was, "seriously if you want manly men in yaoi, you have to get comics aimed at males, which (guess what?) aren't who most yaoi is aimed at", and third "stop complaining I know you get most of it for free if not all"... though i did send her Naono Bhora and Yayoi Neko's way. They draw guys that look like guys. Seriously one of the manga I picked up at NekoCon by Naono Bhora had a character that actually had an aqualine nose. That's so rare i thought i was seeing things.
