Supaaa Mega Jack pot!!! http://www.mythfolklore.net/andrewlang/ some of these are odd, but cool!
and by Fairy tales I mean the old school ones where Cinderella's sisters saw off part of ther feet just to get with some guy they barely know.
Urban Ledgends are kind of like modern day versions of fairy tales since the serve the same basic purpose.
Which is tell people not to do something stupid, like drink drain-o, or date other peoples spouses, or get so inibriated on something around strangers that you pass out and they steal one of your kidneys. Same baisisc premisis of old folk tales.
This all lead to me thinking about palanquins or if anyone in the B'burg area has seen Hooptie ride's Bicycle Rickshaw, a.k.a. "Pedicabs" down town, then that's a modern day version. If you read to the bottom of the Litter article you'll see the latin american version which was used in the Emporer's new Groove. Which lead to carriges, And anyone who can make a pumpkin into one of these has to be fookin' amazing. And I think a large portion of books I've read just made sense. Liked the pictures, here here and here old timey furniture and vehichles rock.
I read and loved the book The Chrysalids by John Wyndam, who's written alot of sci-fi books. Turns out he also wrote a book titled The Midwich Cucoos, but everyone may recognize it by the title of the movie based on it, The Village of the Damned.
And after about 5pm it's pretty safe to scan at the A&A library since very few people are there. Now to artistically rock some worlds. =^___________^=
And that's it for random info from yours truely!
