It’s happening again….
The whole not posting (much) during the week thing. Then I’ll be all fired up to post over the weekend, and only 2% of my readers will be around then! I do have a lot to post about, including some pictures to upload and post, but it’s just going to have to wait.
It was The Youngest’s birthday yesterday (pictures to come!), so I blew my eating goals right out of the water without even meaning to. I’ve been steadily doing a bit worse over the past week, but not by much. But last night? Exceptionally gluttonous. I am paying for it today with a wicked bad stomachache. I haven’t had tummy troubles like this for a while…or it seems like it to me. On the bright side, I probably won’t want to eat anything today.
Aside from small, laid-back birthday festivities at home, there was a lot of running around; most of it in the slightly inclement weather we had yesterday (pictures to come!). The weather never really got all that treacherous, but if a snowflake falls in Alabama, everyone clogs the roadways en route to clog the grocery stores. Add that to an already busy rush hour, and you’re in the middle of a big, huge mess. It wasn’t too bad, though. I got what I needed and I’d go home, only to discover I *didn’t* have all I needed.
Anyway…..we’re all home today. We’re all feeling under the weather. I don’t know what’s up with us. Maybe it’s just a 24 hour bug or something that we have, yet don’t quite have. As for the pictures, I have got to post some more into the photoblog so that when I upload the latest to my flickr account, I’ll have already gotten the ones which will no longer be visible taken care of. And I just don’t have the energy to do that right now. I just want to nap and read. I think that’s what I’ll go do.
