Edit: Well, how this got saved to draft first, I’ll never know….
The weather here lately has been perfect. On the way to my Mom’s, we drove through a torrential downpour leaving town in rush hour traffic. That actually wasn’t much fun, but would have been lovely if I’d been at home listening to it, or watching from indoors! From there, the weather variated from patchy clouds in the clear skies to light rain - much better. At one point, I could look up and see dark clouds rushing past the moon! Then, before reaching my Mom’s, there was spectacular lightning and yet another downpour.
I’ve really loved the overcast, rainy, foggy days we’ve had this weekend. It looks much colder than it actually is. I also love how, on the way to pick my children up earlier tonight, the rain refracted oncoming headlights…..making them look like intricate beadwork on my windshield. Of course, I have to slow down when it rains that much, but as long as it’s not too bad, I won’t complain!
