Bet you knew I wouldn’t be able to do it.

Stick to my schedule, that is. I am simply going to have to cut out some time from chores and ‘relaxation’ so that I get more sleep at night. At least for the next few weeks, five or maybe not even six hours will cut it.

Anyway, I’m having a bunch of weird dreams again.

One night I dreamed that I was rowing some small boat in a lake, and that there was a huge shark which would surface every now and then….it looked menacing to me, but wasn’t bothering the swimmers close to the shore. So I rowed pretty close to the shore, and then an alligator actually got its upper half in my boat (without tipping it over) and a struggle ensued. Which I won, although the alligator bit me on the hand, because there is no way in hell I was going to be tossed into the water with a giant shark.

Another dream was a Gilmore Girls episode. I kid you not. And no, not one that has already been shown. I had my own little plotline and everything going. You can really tell I’m jonesing for more Gilmore Girls episodes, can’t you?

In another, I was back in school….as in high school or middle school or something, but a grown person in a teenager’s body ala Freaky Friday. And I kept making this awful rattling, croupy noise which I assumed was my asthma acting up, but I somehow nearly gagged myself in the dream. And there was also something about giving a cashier at a store a $5 off $50 or more purchase coupon when the purchase was under $50…which I didn’t think about, and the cashier didn’t catch, but I was so worried about us getting into trouble.

And the one I had in the 30 minutes right before I got up today? Another shark in a lake. It was like watching a tv documentary about it; and it showed it coming up out of the water….it was a murky, slime greenish-brown in color (like most lake water), but could sail up out of the water as gracefully as a dolphin, and take boaters right out of their boats.

I don’t know why I keep dreaming about sharks in lakes, y’all. Because the two I had this week are not the only ones I’ve had. There have been plenty, and the sharks have usually been in lakes. Maybe I read too much Swim at Your Own Risk?

Well, I’ve spent too much time on here; gotta go get ready for work in 5-10 minutes. I hate starting the day off like this, but I just didn’t want to forget any of the weirdness.
