The right ‘fit’

Having the ability to keep in touch is so important in today’s world. With parents working, shuffling kids to and from school and extracurricular activities, older children out and about doing their own thing, and family and friends scattered all over the country, keeping in touch can indeed be difficult. But we all know that cell phones have simplified life tremendously by enabling us to send and receive messages and emails and make and accept phone calls no matter where we may be. I can even post directly to my blog from mine!

And you should never underestimate the usefulness and convenience of a cell phone in emergency situations. A lot of today’s phones have options such as voice-activated dialing, speaker phone, gps, and some sort of navigation system to help you reach your destination safely and in a timely manner.

Wireless service providers and plans are just as diverse as the cell phones out there. Almost all carriers offer unlimited night and weekend calling, convenient and affordable monthly service plans for both individuals and families, and prepaid (pay as you go) options.

There are many factors to consider when deciding on the perfect cell phone experience for yourself or your family:

Are you set on a certain provider? Don’t be afraid to ask family and friends about their experiences with their current cell phone service providers.

Do you have to have a certain type of phone? Keep in mind that some phones are carried only by certain service providers. If you have your heart set on a certain phone that is only provided through one company, then obviously you will have to use that provider and their plans.

But something a lot of people overlook when getting a cell phone is the plan itself. This is another area that could save you a bit of money and headache if you know how to take advantage of the plan that best suits the needs of you or your family.

Wirefly can help you do just that. They offer individual, family, and prepaid plans from Alltel, Amp’d Mobile, Cingular Wireless, Cingular Go Phone, Disney Mobile, Nextel, Sprint, T-Mobile, T-Mobile To Go, Verizon Wireless, and Virgin Mobile.

If you are confused about which plan you would benefit the most from, Wirefly even has a nifty wireless wizard to help you out.

Be sure to check out Wirefly Mobile for all your cell phone needs.
