SNOW!
Yes, here in Bama. There appears to be at least an inch on everything, and even more on my car. I tried to wake my kids up earlier so they could see it (at the time nothing was sticking and I didn’t think it would keep snowing), but they just wouldn’t get up. Freaks!
I guess this means a snow day today. Wheeee! But I hope it’s all gone by Friday, because the kids will be so over it by then, and ready to go to their dad’s. And obviously, I won’t be able to get them there if there are still wintry weather driving conditions to deal with. (original post: 1:57 AM)

EDIT: (10:00 AM) There was a two hour delay in school starting. I got to use those nifty galoshes when I trudged out to take the kids to school a while ago. Here are two pics of the melting stuff:

I wanted to get pics of the pretty stuff last night when it was coming down, while it was all still fluffy and pretty and magical. It was completely covering the roads and everything out here, but my only camera (the phone) wasn’t having any of that. So pics of melting sludge will have to do. Hey, this is more than we usually get!
