Three mile walk
I'm dead tired. I can't imagine why, because I took an hour and a half nap today after school and I actually got more than 5 hours of sleep last night. I wasn't up all that late, either. Anyhow, I didn't actually get to the gym tonight, but we did walk three miles to and from Stop and Shop tonight, rather than driving. That's the good thing about autumn: it's not too hot or too cold to walk places. My feet are a little sore, but no where near as sore as they were yesterday from working all day. I get to do this again tomorrow, from 11 until 3:30. Evidently, the girl who's training me tomorrow is kind of spastic, so I have to come in at 11 instead of 10.
The job will be fine when I actually can work alone. I always hated training, except at Lids. I honestly like working by myself in a dead store. I can sit down, do homework, or read, which is a lot better than traipsing around after someone who's basically giving me, partially, a refresher course on how to run a cash register. Bleh.
My shoulders are so stiff from going to the gym yesterday. I seriously wish that I could have used the hot tub yesterday, but not only is it too hot, but the water was yellow because it needed to be changed. I don't think I could have been paid enough to get in there. I'm kind of creeped out by the pool, as well, but for totally different reasons. At least the pool is clean... it's just hyper-chlorinated to the point where my skin itches when I get out.
I forgot to ask about changing the cheques for my gym membership. Dammit. Must remember to do that next time I get to the gym.
What else did I do today...? I rewrote a couple parts of my paper that the professor asked be corrected. I took the two tests I had. I napped... I walked a couple miles. I really managed to do absolutely nothing.
I should take the couple glasses out of my room. They've been here since this morning and I've noticed a couple fruit flies in the kitchen. I do not want them in here.
Ooh, looks like the Marlins are in the playoffs. Cubs won their game. Dodgers are playing now.
I'm going to go do something, like drink more root beer
