I sat in my room last night and stared at all the memories on my walls. I looked at all the funny awards and certificates Ive got from guard over the years and then remembered how Arminda was looking at them and said
"just imagine if you never joined guard. You wouldnt have half of this up here"
and I started to tear up. Its meant the world to me. And my years of being part of Linden's guard is over. Im just glad Ill have many years to come with other guards. But this year for winterguard I cant participate. I dont have $300 and plus with duel enrollment and everything else I think I just need to focus on my studies and my final year. There's always Glassmen and definately Third next year.
