Here, but not really
I've been reading, but don't have the energy to post.
It's harder to stay in touch than I had anticipated. Had I known that things would change so drastically, I would have been much sadder leaving DC.
Things here are great. I am really happy here, which is something that I didn't expect.
There are the downsides. Namely racism, the conservative political climate, and a lack of decent grocery stores. But there are wonderful things here too and we have made some good friends.
I need to thank misskerri for the wonderful boy clothes!
Johnny wore an entire Nick outfit yesterday and Eleanor wore the yellow and white striped shirt. I fully intend to write you a proper thank you note, but I know myself. It might be awhile. So, thank you!!
John has taken to calling things Kara. I'm not sure what that's about, but it's funny.
John and Eleanor still talk about when they lived in "Washington, D!C!" There is emphasis on the D and the C.
And melissataurus - is your gmail account first dot last or just mlastname?
I need to email you, but don't want my message going to the wrong person. I was getting email for my name twin who was setting up a political dinner in Colorado. We are on Skype as boucherferry or susie.boucher. Add us!
