(no subject)
for some reason i feel really frazzled right now, and i need to organize my thoughts. and what better place than my journal, right? this will be in list form so i can clear things up for myself.
1. i am uberbusy and uberstressed. today was the first day this week that i got home before 8 (monday and wednesday i worked until 730, and tuesday i had gymnastics and dance practice, which ended at 715-ish but is like a half hour away from my house.) after coming home right after school for the first time this week, i did hw/cut some cards for a couple hours, took a 45-minute nap cuz i couldn't keep my eyes open, then woke up and left for practice night at school where i ran through my speech with hanna, left around 750, and arrived at 8 for my meeting at work. we talked about stuff, set up schedules for march, and i got home around 920-ish. since then, i've been semi-working, as well as getting my best friend's birthday present/letter (which is 8+ pages long already =]) ready for tomorrow, which leads into my second point...
2. my best friend's birthday is this sunday. she's technically turning four, because she's born on february 29th. cool, hm? because i'll be at a debate tournament all day sunday, and i'll be in san fran with my aunt and cousin and family on saturday, i won't be able to see her then. but i devised a plan to surprise her at school tomorrow (she doesn't go to my school) by having rishi pick me up and take me there during lunch, where i'll have about a half hour with her before rushing back to lynbrook for 6th period pe (ugh). fyi, in case you're wondering, two busy people who are best friends don't get to see each other very much. =(
3. my aunt and cousin are coming tomorrow from spain to stay for the weekend. we OBVIOUSLY have to go to san fran, so that they can see the golden gate, which really amazes me, because it's really not that impressive. but maybe i just think that because i've seen it so many times...whatever, fisherman's wharf is fun, and i love walking around ghirardelli square at night.
4. this sunday, i have a league debate tournament on the march/april res, and i don't yet have cases. key word being yet. the plan is to write 'em tomorrow, using cards off of victory briefs and pdf files i can find using the ever-trusty google. argh, i hate this topic...so nebulous and undefined. just when i was starting to get into the idea of progressive ld. =(
5. even though i'm so busy, i'm content for some reason. i guess i like having my schedule packed back to back and feeling like i'm getting everything done. i like feeling accomplished.
6. on the issue of 'friends': OMFG I CAN'T BELIEVE IT'S IN PARIS. IF SHE MOVES, ROSS BETTER GO WITH HER. but then joey'll be all alone. aww. i hear matt le blanc is doing a spinoff of friends called joey...? i think it'll flop, but let's see.
uh, yeah. that was a weird way to end an entry. i have chem to do and neha's birthday letter to finish, plus there's this whole sleep thing that sounds appealing. night kids.
