Disappointed
Not sure if anyone's noticed the Baptist Church fires in Alabama.
I've been keeping an eye on the media and my Mom has been giving me information when things happen. As I am from Alabama..I've seen a LOT of racism. Growing up I'd hear conversations from neighbors and overhear strangers conversations in a local restruant talking about Ku Klux Klan stuff. At first I didn't honestly understand it as I was a child and to be honest I couldn't figure out what the big fuss was about as I was always taught that we all get into out pants the same way...so WTF is the issue here?
But I was innocent. I didn't even give it a thought that I went to a all white school. And that all the other nationalities went to the school in the valley. Just never clicked in my world. Maybe my Mom didn't feel it was an issue so why rock the boat to explain it to me.
I think when stuff finally clicked in my brain was the year I graduated high school. I was driving though the neighboring town winch was the county seat. And as I passed a certain road that went directly to the court house I noticed a hell of a lot of people wearing white, red and black robes. As some might have figured my brain went numb and it scared the shit out of me. I decided than I was NOT GOING TO LIVE in a place that allowed the KKK to disrupt my community. I moved out of state soon after that.
Seems the back story on the demonstration was a year or so later a klan of the KKK from northeast Goergia had been in Our neck of the woods as they say in Alabama and someone shot the grand master and since then they make a yearly ceremony to protest his death. I mean they were there to the point were the local SWAT team were staked out on the court house and around.
Now, for the past week or so some DUMN FUCK(s) has been burning churches..half black churches and half white. Correct me if I am wrong but isn 't this 2006???? I am not saying it is the KKK but after growning up there and living with the racism I wouldn't be too suprised. And if this is the case Do we not have worse things to deal with than throwing on some god damn robes and run around making trouble like a bunch of idoits!?? No, we do not need to care cancer!! No we do not loose millions to AIDS!! So why not pick up the local fucking moronic assholes and lets go burn some churches!! I mean after all we don't have anything else to spend our time on.
