Summary: Hot in Japan, time to cool down. Is a little similar to the Pool prompt, but I added watermelon.
5. Summer
During one of their rare breaks, the five boys of Tohoshinki were melting away in their Japanese hostel. Ice cream wrappers from the convenience store around the corner lined the table top, the window was completely open, and each of the boys had taken off their shirt. Jaejoong and Yunho had already flung their pants on the floor and were lazing in the bath, the porcelain surface probably the coolest in the house. The other three pooled together in a blob of sweat in front of a fan.
“I’m dying here, please, turn up the A/C!” Yunho mumbled. No one replied, not even Jaejoong lying limply next to him. “Jaejoong, please fill the tub with water. Cold water.”
“Water? Yeah, I could go for some watermelon right now. Why is Japan so hot during the summer?”
“No, turn on the water.” Yunho flicked Jaejoong on the head, making him frown but turn on the tap.
“We’re supposed to be speaking Japanese for practice. Naze, um, atsui, eh, natsu desu ka? I can’t think in this heat.” The tub filled more ad Jaejoong promptly submerged his head into the cool water.
“You can’t think, I can’t think, and nobody thinks it’s weird we’re taking a bath together, in our underwear?”
Jaejoong popped up for air, licking his lips as if his life was rejuvenated by the water. “Well, unless you want to take that off, I don’t mind the view that much.”
Yunho blushed, trying to not let the words affect him too much. “You don’t mean that, it’s just the heat talking.”
“Well, it’s the heat in more ways that one.” Jaejoong grinned devilishly, making a lunge for Yunho’s body.
