Happy belated New Year's, minna! ^__^
I was really working hard to get my presents purchased and wrapped that I decided to treat myself to a four-day ski trip up to Vancouver, Canada. It really is pleasant up there, except it rained just a tad bit too much. Really strange too, because around 4-ish, you start to get sleepy even though it's not your bed-time~ It must be that short-day thing...I understand why they have a lot of suicidal people up there, you really can't live without the sun. ^__^
More about skiing. It was a bit difficult to get back into the swing, but I eventually got the hang of it when a kind lady offered to give me lessons for free! After a day of hardcore skiing and what-not, I treated her to a cup of warm coffee over at Seattle's Best. She seemed quite charmed by me, and I don't know why, but whenever I laughed, she flushed a bright red~♥
I must say though, the number of Asians up there is gargantuan!! It's difficult to look and NOT see an Asian...or as the British say, 'oriental'.
But alas! I did my Christmas shopping up there and have bought quite a few things for myself as well. A new calendar for the new year and a beautiful, new cellphone! Now I need to transfer over my contacts from my previous cellphone and get rid of it...
Oh dear, I need to get going to Ukitake-sensei's party!
