[Nero stared at the light show, unimpressed, before swinging his sword in a wide arc, cutting through the flame. He had a vague sense of déjà vu, remembering his fight with Berial and wondered if the kid could do better. He hadn't been impressed by the conqueror of the Fire Hell. Maybe a lapdog of Heaven would be more interesting?]

[He spread his wing, shield poised and sword scratching the dirt as he moved forward.]

[He could practically taste the anger. So...a hardheaded angel against a hotheaded demon. This was the type of stuff that would have made the geezers at the Order wet their pants. But as amusing as it was to wait for the kid to strike the match and get the fires going, he wasn't planning to lose the advantage.]

Good 'cause the show's just getting started.

[Nero took to the sky, feeling his sword pulse with charged power, it's metal gleaming a bright gold. He raised it over his head and began a downward descent, hoping to cut through the fire and impale the angel.]

[The fires around him swirled and covered their master completely then teleported him out of harm's way. He reappeared atop one of the trees and sent another torrent of fire at Nero.]

[He landed roughly, only able to catch the remnants of fire left in the archangel's wake with his sword. He didn't have time to wonder about what had happened, his instincts already in overdrive so that he had his shield up before he heard Ryuuki's goad. He let it take the brunt of the attack, grunting as it pushed him back a few inches.

He could barely keep up with the screaming demonic instincts telling him to attack or understand the sudden painful heat in his wing. All he could do was spread them wide, watching as feathers glowed and separated from him, teleporting to surround the archangel in a ring of swords. So this is what it felt like from the other side huh?]

...Actually, more like this.
