Blood that binds us together (Epilogue or sequel) part 2
The fight outside the castle went on almost through the night. Ohno and Nino was terrified they haven't heard any information since Sakurai left the room. Ohno wanted to go in search for him but he promised he would stay, he needed to look after Nino and to make sure he doesn't lose too much blood. The clock outside of the bed chambers chimed 12 times indicating that it was midnight. Ohno was about to forgo his promise and look for his creature. At the door Ohno was about to open it when he heard voices coming down the hall. “Oh-chan don't go out there.” “It's been too long Nino they might be hurt.” Ohno grabbed a sword off the wall in the room before exiting into the hall, He slowly walked down the hall and was about to make a right turn when he was grabbed from behind. Swing the sword wildly at his attacker, Ohno was kissed roughly. “I thought I told you to stay in the room.” Sakurai whispered into Ohno's ear. The vampire caught the sword's blade just before it connected to his neck with his right hand. “Sho!... I was so worried. Is everything OK? Where's Masaki?” Ohno dropped the sword and hugged Sakurai tight around his neck kissing what ever he could reach with his lips.
“Everything is fine now, Masaki is OK. We captured all the intruders they're being questioned in the dungeon. Nino how is he?” “Worried like me.” “Come let's get him to a healer.” “Who where they?” Sakurai lifted Nino up in his arms and carried him to the healer who had his hands full treating both the humans and creature's of the castle. Masaki ran in looking for Nino. “Where is he... Nino!?” “Here Masaki I'm here.” Nino stood from his bed, his right arm bandaged heavily and in a sling. “Baby... I was so worried. All I could think about was you being injured.” “I'm here and I'm OK thanks to our Lord pulling the arrow out and Oh-chan stopping the bleeding.” Masaki damn near kissed the life out of Nino, sucking on his lips till Nino had to pull out the death like hug. “Masaki their watching.” Nino blushed. “Don't mind us were just... were just over here.” Ohno blushed just as red as Nino pulling Sakurai to a corner. “Sho who were they?” “An up rising of humans.” “What's going to happen to them now?” “They can burn.” Ohno was shocked at Nino's hateful remark. “Nino...” “They almost cost me my second chance... My second family.” “Then Nino I leave the punishment to you. What do you think we should do with the prisoners?” “Use them.. Get enough information out of them to see if there are more and capture them.”
It took four months to round up all the human resistance and put a stop the the revolution, it was three months till Ohno's and Sakurai's ceremony. Nino was in the stables choosing the horses that will carry Ohno and Sakurai to their honeymoon after the celebration Ohno approached from behind. “Are these the ones you choose Nino.” “Mm... I'm still thinking, but Almay is diffidently the one I want to lead it.” “Nino I have an proposal... I talked with Sho on this and he is fine with it.” Nino turned to Ohno, the tone in his voice was one he hasn't used in a long time.
“Since you and Masaki haven't had your ceremony yet... I was wondering if it would be alright if we had them together... like a ceremony to crate a family.” “Oh-chan we don't need a ceremony for that. I already feel we are family.” “I know but it would make it feel more special.” “It would. I would love it if makes you joining souls with our Lord more special event. Um... Is Satomi coming?” “I asked her but, she refuse she will never accept Sho or me becoming a vampire.” “Have you thought about continuing your bloodline with the Lord?” “I thought about it, but as long as Satomi is alive my bloodline will continue. Besides if I want to play with babies I have you right.” Nino looked at Ohno silently asking him to continue. “I also talked to Masaki about you and him having pups, I had no idea a wolf could blush.” “W...what did he say?” Ohno smirked. “He definitely want pups his bloodline. I told him how you said that the Ninomiya name ends with you, He felt guilty about that so, I think he will be Okay with you having a child of your own.” “But...” “Talk to him Nino, he loves you.”
It took weeks for Nino to have build the courage he needed to talk to Masaki about him having a child with his bloodline. “Nino I love you and I want you to be happy. It will be hard for me to care for a child that doesn't have my blood but I can learn to love that child because it has yours.” “So you are OK with me mating a female and have a relationship as parents with this female?” Nino thought he saw his lover flash a bit of anger in him. “I may but I'll do what ever it takes to control my anger.” Nino said nothing more just nodded. He knew in his heart that Masaki would do anything to make and keep him happy but he didn’t want to make his lover suffer by making him do something he is not comfortable doing.
In secret Nino watched females who would be a great mother for his child. When he found her he had no idea how tricky it would be. But with help from the Lord Matsumoto Nino was able to sneak to his castle without Ohno knowing. Of course he told Masaki of his plan saying it would be a better solution to the future problems that would arise. The problem was how to tell Ohno that his choice to be the mother of his child was his sister Satomi.
two weeks before the ceremony Nino was helping Ohno with his ceremony attire a finale fitting as it was. Oh-chan I have something to tell you and you might not like it.” Ohno stopped looking at himself in the mirror. He was already nervous that come in two weeks He will become one with his creature. “Nino what's wrong?” Nino took a deep breathe and blow out everything in one go. “ I'm having a baby with Satomi!” Even thou the words was fast as the wind coming out of Nino's mouth Ohno heard and understood all of it. “What!...Your!...When?...How?” “I talked to Masaki about me having a child and he's happy about it but he would still be uncomfortable raising some other bloodline child, let alone me having a parental relationship with the female.” “What's the difference now Masaki is still not going to accept the child! It's not his Nino. And you put Satomi in front of Masaki's rage.” “Masaki is OK with it and think it is a good idea.” “Why?” “Because you will be his Lord and the bloodline of this child will have yours in it so he can't hold any resentment towards him or her.” “And how did you get Satomi to be your child's mother?”
Nino almost had tears in his eyes at Ohno's reluctance. “I told her that you was giving up the chance to have a child of your own for the love of your life and that I won't continue my bloodline because my love of my life would give up his pride to raise a child that is not his... She still loves you Oh-chan.” Ohno blinked his tears away he thought his sister had wrote him off. “How is she? She won't talk to me.” “She's doing great Oh-chan I think the Lord Matsumoto is falling for her. She is being treated like a queen over there. But I think between you and her this would be away to reconnect your bond. And this will really bring us together more has a whole family.” “I...I need to think about this.” Ohno walked slowly out of the room they was in, across the castle dance hall that was decorated with white lace ribbons, till he came to Sakurai's study where the vampire was reading about human babies. Ohno did not noticed the label till Sakurai placed the book open and face down. “Sh... You knew Nino was having a baby with my sister?” “Yes.” “Why didn't you tell me?” “Because he asked me not to, besides I felt your emotions as of late how could you chose to give up your bloodline just like that? I would never want that of you. Your family is part of my family crest Satoshi I would only want it to live on, and this is a way for it to live on.” “Why didn't you tell me?” “Because you would be upset like you are now.” Sakurai sighed standing walking around his desk to hold Ohno in his arms.
“Satoshi I love you and I love your family. I want your bloodline to continue not just through your sister but also through you. I want you to have a child.” Ohno pulled away from the embrace to look Sakurai in the eyes confused. “How would this...” “ We would raise the child together.” “Huh!?” “Nino's bloodline will continue and Masaki won't be to uncomfortable raising his Master's niece or nephew and you and Satomi can have something to restart your relationship for the child sake.” “And you are OK with a baby around? Keeping you up during the daylight, feeding, changing...” Ohno started to tease his creature weakness towards babies of the Ohno family. “That is why I'm reading this... Human Babies.” Ohno laughed loud and proud of his silly creature. “I love you Sho... We'll figure it out together.” Ohno kissed his vampire on his neck sucking hard to leave a mark. “Mm... I can't wait till you can do it harder.” “I could now.” “No not yet. It won't be special on our day.” “I know... I'll wait.” Ohno pouted cutely before leaving to find Nino and apologize.
The morning of the ceremony Ohno was a nervous wreck. He paced back and fourth in his old room him and Nino shared. It was now a room where Ohno prepared himself for the ceremony. Nino was there also just as nervous since he was also preparing for his and Masaki union. Ohno was looking at himself in the mirror, “I can't believe the seamstress did this in a week.” “Well she worked extra hard and all day and night, thanks to you going to see our Lord in your ceremonial robes.” Ohno felt guilty for breaking the tradition of the soul mating rituals and more so for having the seamstress remaking his robes. “Well it's a good thing Sho was not wearing his. Nino after were done here let's go to the lake. I want to see and feel the sun on me for the last time.” “To tell you the truth the Lord had something planned for the both of us.”
Ohno got excited and worried he hoped that his creature didn't try to sneak out during the day. He remember when the castle was under attack and the vampire got caught in the sun saving one of his servants who was loyal to him. Sakurai suffered burns on his upper back and left arm. It took a month for them too heal as if they was not there but the pain he went through, Ohno remembers his creature eyes and trying not to show how much pain he was in during the healing process. Ohno thought he was going to die and vowed to follow his creature where ever he goes. That gave Sakurai the courage to endure the pain and heal his burns faster.
They reached the lake and to Ohno and Nino surprise the lake was frozen over. Ice as blue as heaven and snow on the edges as if it was late winter. “How?... What magic is this?” “Ohno was shocked and his mouth almost to the ground. “I've never seen such magic Oh-chan.” “It only happens on the day a union is to be made and since there will be two unions tonight look up.” Masaki said coming up behind them and hugging Nino from behind. In the sky the sun was bright and high and a rainbow of lights stretched across the lake shinning down on the other side. Ohno followed the lights and panic followed his heart. Sakurai was standing on the other side holding 100 blood red roses and orchids. “Sho!... No!... What are you doing out?!...” Ohno ran to his creature to cover him with the cloth he brought for him and Nino to sit on the ground with. When he reached the vampire, Sakurai had a huge smile on his face showing all his white teeth.
“It's OK Satoshi... I'm aloud under the sun today.” “How? Why not everyday?” “Our god allow us to share the one thing our soul mate is sacrificing in order to spend eternity with them, yours is the sun. So we can watch together and be together on the last day you will feel it. You'll be able to still see it but you will no longer feel the warmth of it.” “And the lake?” “It is proof that our love and Masaki and Nino's love is genuine. There is no false behind it.” Ohno leaped into his creature's arms kissing deeply the vampire lips till a rosy red appeared. Sakurai had to drop the flowers to catch a flying Ohno in his arms and kissed Ohno's lips in return sucking on them till had to pull away for breathe.
All day the vampire and the wolf sat on the edge of the frozen lake watching the two best friends slide and play on the icy lake. “Masaki I am counting on you to take care of Nino he will no longer have Satoshi in the daytime. Be watchful of his loneliness.” “He will only be alone eight months Satomi will have her baby and Asia will have our pups in three months time he will be very busy.” “I still can't believe he is the baby from long ago.” “I can't believe that this bratty human softened me towards humans.” “I was surprised that you reciprocated Ninomiya feelings. I had believed that you would die hating them.” Masaki nodded, “I would have if you never brought him here.” The two laughed when Nino dumped snow from the edges down Ohno's back. Making him scream like a girl.
The four remained out by the lake until it was time for the ceremony. Ohno and Nino was back in their old room dressing. They was almost done with their grooming when they heard a knock on the door. A servant entered letting them know it was time to walk the isle. Ohno and Nino walked hand in hand till they reached the doors of the great hall. They both was wearing yukata's, Nino's was in a all light green yukata that had a golden yellow wolf embroidered throughout the fabric. Around his neck was a thin golden chain like collar that came down the front and wrapped around his waist and tied with the obi in the back. While Ohno's was a dark blue with blood red crest of Sakurai embroidered he had a trim of sliver running along the edges and diamonds throughout the obi. The doors opened and they both saw their soul mates standing at the end of the isle Masaki on the right side he was wearing a all black yukata with hints of yellow wolf eyes throughout, and on the left was Sakurai he was wearing all white yukata that had diamonds dawning his crest that was embroidered in the fabric, his obi was sliver.
Ohno and Nino walked nervously down the isle, they was nervous but they was smiling from ear to ear. They took their places beside their mates looking to the Master of all vampires and the alpha wolf of all wolves. Ohno saw his sister step from behind Matsumoto who was next to the Master vampire, he was shocked to see her dressed in a beautiful silver gown. “Your beautiful sister.” “It's probably the baby doing it.” She blushed at her brother words and the glare Matsumoto gave Sakurai. “I love you brother.” “And I love you sister.” The master vampire had a smile on his face he had something to reveal to both Sakurai and Ohno. “My two children I have this to tell. You were not brought together because of a promise or a weaken heart for a baby. The Crest of Sakurai was always over the Ohno family before the both of you was born.” Sakurai and Ohno looked to the master vampire in confusion. “Fear not. Sakurai's and Ohno's have belong to each other for thousands of years, Sakurai you was drawn to Ohno when he was a baby but in truth he was your soul mate to began with. Every generation a Sakurai will always be drawn to an Ohno like a moth to a flame it is your destiny to be together.”
“Masaki, Nino there is not an ancient tradition for the two of you but all traditions start from somewhere. Nino you brought the human's and wolves closer. Masaki for your devotion to your Master Sakurai I dawn upon you and Nino your own family crest.”
The ceremony was short an beautiful all four lovers vowed their undying lover for each other. It was Masaki and Nino who walked back up the isle into the night air first. Masaki stood under the full moon and let out a loud howl. All the other wolves followed Masaki howling, the power of the howl vibrated the windows of the castle and brought powerful lighting. Masaki lifted Nino and ran with him into the woods to a cabin that was built for they're first night together as life mates and future home to them and their pups.
The master of all vampires continued after Nino and Masaki left the great hall with all the wolves. It was now time for Sakurai and Ohno to say their vows. “Satoshi I thought you was the most beautiful baby I had ever seen. You pulled my heart with your eyes and now that I know we were meant to be one soul I will move heaven and hell to keep my soul intact. Ohno couldn't help but have a huge smile on his face. “Sho even before I really knew who you were, My mother told me of you and I dreamt of you every night. Dreams come true when I wished upon a star before bed. The Master of vampires raised a goblet and pricked his finger dropping a tiny bead of blood in the blessed red wine. He handed the goblet to Sakurai. Sakurai picked up a knife and cut the inner side of his hand over the goblet squeezing his blood into it.
“Satoshi take my blood and be with me for eternity.” Ohno took the goblet and drank the blood of his creature not leaving a drop. Sakurai then stood behind Ohno and waited. Seconds after Ohno drank his eyes rolled behind his head and his eyes closed. His head dropped back with his face toward the ceiling. Ohno fell back into Sakurai arms when he lost conscious. He was out for a few minutes, during that time his body tremble and arched. He was becoming a vampire in front of his soul mate and sister. After a few minutes Ohno opened his eyes to a new world. His eyes was not just a honey brown but a golden honey brown now. Sakurai helped Ohno to stand back to his feet. Ohno never took his eyes of off Sakurai. “Your more beautiful some creature.” Ohno saw Sakurai from his new vampire eyes. Ohno turned his head to look at his sister and surprisingly she was not afraid of him. She smiled back toward him. “Your still my baby brother Satoshi.” “Your still my older sister Satomi.” Sakurai pulled his soul mate closer into his arms. “I think it's time we head out to the island.” Ohno nodded and took Sakurai's hand in his and they both walked out to the carriage that Nino had pains takenly prepared for their travel.
Once inside the carriage Sakurai was drinking wine watching his soul mate who was sitting on the opposite side watching Sakurai in return. “How do you feel?” “I want you.” Ohno had a smirk on his face. “You can have me.” Ohno smiled revealing his newly grown fangs before he pounced on Sakurai kissing him passionately and deeply nipping into the lips of his soul mate drawing blood from both of their lips and tongues, both vampires tasted each others blood. “I love you Satoshi.” “I love you some creature.”
A/N: OK this came out more as a sequel than an epilogue. I need to learn how to really write one. Hope this fulfill and satisfy those questions that the main story left. Comments welcome.
