Jane's Addiction and Alice in Chains both broke significantly earlier than Nirvana. Would Jane's have gotten the alt-rock crown if Perry had been more marketable (read: less "ethnic" looking, as I once heard a marketing chick say, way back when), and would it have fallen to AiC if Layne had overdosed years earlier?

Also, I've got another interview tomorrow. Ugh. I hate interviewing, I always feel like I'm on a blind date.
