I must say that the Bournemouth photographer did a good job of portraying Miss Mason as a sadistic dominatrix, eager to practice her nefarious skills. In her case, NOT wearing black is almost more menacing -- she presumably is the assistant headmistress in charge of discipline. She has a private office to which errant girls are sent for what we imagine to be demeaning and painful correction.
And maybe WE are next?!
