You delightful readers perhaps recall me recently, waxing nostalgic about Garry Trudeau's extraordinary comic -- maybe a month ago?
In today's WPost, there's a marvelous story on the launch of a new book featuring a thousand of his strips -- Trudeau edited down from some 14,000 strips he had done over 40 years. Not to shill for the book, I was intrigued, nonetheless, by his creation of -- as the Post put it -- "a novel told one poignant punch at a time." In effect, Trudeau's glorious take on the past four decades.
