Charles had the proverbial "embarrassment of riches" here --

As always on the Net, it's as much what you DON'T write that is more interesting than what you DO. If not "just costumes," what might it have been? Trying out that wicked whip? Shannon may not have just "come along:" she looks pretty familiar with the "business end" of that thing. (Notice how she pulls it along her left thigh, as if savouring the leather...thinking what it could do!)
Likewise, just speculating here, eliminating "just costumes" leaves -- what? Two lissome nude girls!
