Portia
I've loved Portia di Rossi since the first time I saw her as Nelle in "Ally McBeal." More accurately, I've lusted after her since then -- somehow knowing she was gay, long before she came out. Her being with Ellen is fine by me; I've enjoyed her and her Converse tennies since EVER! (Nice when your pals dig each other...)
I was on Wikipedia just now, and thought of catching up with Portia (who renamed herself that out, channeling Shakespeare at age 15, when she was modelling in Australia -- per Wiki).
I found some semi-revealing news -- "On August 6, 2010 she filed a petition to legally change her name to Portia Lee James DeGeneres." (No clue what the "Lee" and "James" connect to...)
But, hey, straws in the culture-war wind...
