Just saw an offbeat t-shirt design about the godawful Gulf oilspill and its devastation of regional wildlife. Oddly, an LJ-friend of mine thought it was inappropriate -- but I appreciated it a lot. I don't see anything wrong with it. Maybe if the shirt was had something like a save the pelicans web address or something to show it is more about helping raise awareness and avoid any confusion about the shirt maybe saying "hehe pelicans got oiled".

But did you see the artistic way he sketched in the whole Gulf Coast below the pelican? A Statement...
