Kai Valdespino is a young Spanish woman with some marvelously artistic work in her collection. A number of self-portraits, but not her main subject (which I appreciate, even if I'd like to see more of her!).
No, she's really into subtle compositions from theatre, passers-by on the street, the odd guitarist. I like a small set of hers called "Secondary Effects," one of which I featured a month or so ago. Incidentally, Kai has a number of interesting Flickr groups with which she collaborates. I liked one, in particular, as I wandered her collection. It's called "Fotografío Lo Que Quiero" (I Shoot What I Like) -- which seems to have a forthcoming show in the pretty beach town called Benalmádena on May 23.
