This shot of Laura's (again, she is her own best subject/model) is from a set charmingly titled "This strangely lovely existence." She further explains -- "slowly losing grip," evidently quoting someone named Tristania; then, "I re-discovered this, and I like it quite a lot....something about it has grown [in?] me."
As I just mentioned, this sort of self-portraiture is what inspired me to begin my search for truly feminine expression, across the wild terrain of Flickr. (I'm going on five years at it -- and Flickr is growing exponentially! I will never finish! And wouldn't it be sad if I -- or anyone -- ever did??)
Women especially seem to gravitate to this medium, combining the blogging and photographic experiences. It is SO cool!
