The Witch is hunting
It's a holiday weekend, but somehow NOT the usual relaxed "kicking off the summer" Memorial Day. And I regret to tell you why this is so: Trumpsky is in full campaign mode, actively causing trouble in a half-dozen areas.
There's the Iran mess, with the announced military preparations to deal with possible threats to our Middle East interests. And, all too predictably, Trumpsky is stirring the pot.
There is also his "investigating the investigators," namely the Witch now doing the hunting. He's making a dumb-but-dangerous effort to "uncover" supposedly evil intentions of the intel community BEHIND the 2016 investigations that led to the Mueller report. And this week ordering AG Barr to review (and "declassify"?) the secret goodies -- threatening God-knows-what consequences.
Meanwhile, the asshole jets off to Japan for a fun-packed state visit -- the highlight of which is to grace a fucking sumo-wrestling tournament. Real question is whether he will provoke North Korea (and maybe "Gy-na") for his own ego-tripping purposes.
Not that the crafty Chinese don't otherwise occupy a prominent place in our list of worries. The just-renewed Huawei prosecution (or should that be persecution?) underscores the breakdown of Trumpsky's vaunted trade talks in Beijing. His idiotic tariff warfare raises ever more fear of "the slippery slope," undoing a half-century of positive economic expansion.
And I think I'm forgetting a couple of other high-risk issues...arghh!
