I'm of course definitely late to the conversation, but I feel your pain on this and I hope it finds a balance where the both of your needs are met somewhere in the middle. It's not fair to you or to Joanne if one or the both of you find yourselves in a state of constant frustration.

Thanks, Jasper. You are a good friend, and you understand about Joanne better than anyone else. And I do thank you for it.

Chasing girls on-line, which -- obviously! -- keeps me sane, is no doubt hampered by my messy RL relationship. (Explaining who I am and why I'm at loose ends -- as it were -- is a bitch!)

Though, interestingly, it seems to elicit sympathy from a few of them. (From a new girl, a fiery Italian, at the moment...) Which, in turn, keeps on keeping me sane...

I certainly approve of your choices of therapy, Justine. Satisfying your cravings with a little online chase sounds like a good way to keep the heart rate up and to remain satiated, and I'm glad I can stay in touch with you.
