The WPost op-ed page today is ALL Trumpsky! Four articles, including one from a right-winger, Charles Krauthammer -- "The guardrails can't contain Trump." Its gist is that, given the past ten days' havoc, we MUST get rid of him. The crotchety Krauthammer shows his conservatism: DON'T use the 25th amendment to the Constitution to do so, it "perverts" the wording and amounts to a coup d'etat.
Another op-ed is by the staunch Catholic Michael Gerson, a onetime speechwriter for George W. (Hence, not exactly a liberal...) He tries to persuade Republican Congresspersons that "a collapsing political roof might crush THEM as well." He argues, however, that the miserable jerk must be booted NOT on such pragmatic grounds, but on behalf of morality and ethics,
The third one is by Garrison Keillor (late of "Prairie Home Companion"), and councils the Trump-weary to do like him, just enjoy the lovely spring weather (sic!)...
And the fourth is by an establishment political observer, Robert Kagan (now with Brookings). The title: "To the adults in the room: WHY are you still there?" It says to those top officials who signed on with Trumpsky out of a sense of duty to the nation: the asshole-in-chief CANNOT be redeemed, so you should leave! "Get off the bus, Gus, set yourself free" as Simon and Garfunkel used to sing... But DO read Kagan's full screed:

* A double meaning, if one thinks of Trumpsky as the ultimate fuck-up. (I think that's the root of the slang -- turning the verb into a noun. Etymology is fun!) Impeach him!!!
