Dowson #1 -- commenting (ungraciously) on some of his Moscow models
Here are several shots from Brit fashion photographer Mike Dowson, whose work I explored yesterday -- promising to follow up with examples of his sensual shots of women. In particular, his earlier* work in Moscow was featured in various European fashion mags. Some of the Russian material has his long notes about individual girls:

This is a 10-shot sequence** including two mag-covers, several close-ups of her fascinating face, and a couple of casuals in the studio. The sometimes-hateful Dowson commented: "Irina lived 4 hours by train outside Moscow and was never late except once -- she arrived 30 minutes after the time she was supposed to arrive so I immediately sent her home [sic!]; it was the middle of winter [sic!!]. She was never late again..."

Anyway, I told her to do whatever was necessary to make it work; she did, and we took some nice photos... on one occasion I was so angry with her she ran out of the apartment stark naked and had to return to retrieve her clothes! I once made a move on Masha but she said... she found me completely unattractive... Actually, I’m not that attractive but I thought looks didn’t matter to a woman if you could make them laugh? Clearly they do. Gutted."
