Fallon musses Trumpsky's hair; BAD idea, Jimmy!
James Fallows, senior editor at The Atlantic magazine, has started an all-out attack on Trumpsky. (Not in so many words, but evidently because opinion polling now shows the LYING demagogue in the fucking LEAD! Other important commentators also have "taken off the boxing gloves" -- afraid the country seems to be slipping into all-out catastrophe come November!)
Fallows, a respected foreign-affairs writer, attacked a horrid TV faux pas last Thursday on the "Tonight" show. Host Jimmy Fallon egregiously fawned over the Repub nominee for ten excruciating minutes.
"Effective 53 days from now, [Fallon] may have a lot to answer for. Performances like the one he put on this evening with Donald Trump, including a 'charming' mussing of the candidate’s famous hair, are a crucial part of the 'normalizing' process of a candidate who is outside all historical norms for this office.
“One reason for Trump’s rise has been the effective merger of the entertainment and political-campaign industries. Jimmy Fallon accelerated that process tonight. He did so on the same day in which Trump put out a crazy economic plan and still refused to say that the incumbent (black) president was a ‘real’ American.”
The following day, Trumpsky admitted he had LIED for the past 5-6 years about the President not having been botn in the USA. Egregious LYING cannot be swept under the political rug! (I admit Hillary may occasionally "stretch" the truth, but The Donald drives a Mack truck over it several times a day, year in and year out!)
