Martin Milner died this holiday weekend at age 83. I recall him from 70s reruns of "Route 66" -- a pretty cool show with him and a friend adventuring along the transcontinental predecessor to the Interstates in a convertible Corvette. They had one of the best musical themes -- "tuh-duh-DAH-dee-duh-duh..." (to their credit, the show never played that icky "Get your kicks on Route 66").
