Getty Images -- they've got an elegant Tumblr!

After all, Tumblr is so named BECAUSE one can just wander there and stumble across the greatest stuff. Well, a few minutes ago I found the classic repository of photos of cool people, Getty Images (gettyimages.tumblr.com). It's organized on Tumblr to demonstrate graphically just how good their photographers are -- and the shots are rebloggable like any other blog there! ("If you can't beat 'em, join 'em!!" may be their response to the casual openness of this nifty place!)

Anyhow, I found some gorgeous shots -- the first two individual head-and-shoulders photos of stars from yesterday and today; the rest are luscious photo-sequences and GIFs -- the third is wonderful of the delicious Sarah Jessica Parker, the fourth is Cannes Film Festival, and the last is another cinema event:
