Bouncing Czechs

May 10, 2014 10:56

Sorry for that li'l Saturday morning pun! But I'm on a ROLL: I clicked on my computer, and there was a Tumblr called "lesbiansilk" which I'd been enjoying last night. Another click brought me to a cool lezzie site: http://ultradevi2.tumblr.com/post/85317440569/lesbiansilk-pumped-up-kiss-by-svea-jillczech

You'll notice the photo is by someone called JillCzech. Her name immediately summoned up my lovely Czech friends, the delicious Prague couple Anna and Dana, and dear Renata -- the intriguing Czech girl from the boondocks. (With her sparkling self-taught English, sweet Rena will surely enjoy the curious Americanism, "boondocks"...)

But, returning to my morning's discovery, JillCzech. She is a German, and it's taken a few bounces (she's on stuff I don't do, like Facebook and DeviantArt*) before I found her on Blogspot (which is deliciously LJ-friendly). Her blog there is "auf Deutsch" -- which I can read, but no longer speak. (I've lost my Fliessigkeit [fluency] in the decades since I lived in Munich. *Das sigh*)

So far, I'm not finding JillCzech on Tumblr (except through bloggers like "lesbiansilk"). But I tried one more possibility -- a full search of Tumblr. That little click turned up dozens by JillCzech. Here's an erotic gem: http://removepanties.tumblr.com/post/85321838152/lesbiansilk-celebrate-by-svea-jillczech (Don't forget, sweet readers, "removepanties" is my Tumblr for a certain kind of erotica, just as "ultradevi2" is for fashion, art and romance!)

Here is another from the search: http://ultradevi.tumblr.com/post/85322834247/sexy-mask-scheherazade-by-svea-jillczech (this "masks" Tumblr is new to me; another European blogger, I think).

And another, this one in a fashionista direction: http://ultradevi2.tumblr.com/post/85323975679/fuck-societys-idea-of-beauty-legs-by

Well, you lovely readers get the idea. I still haven't figured out where JillCzech conjured up the "Czech" part of her name. Perhaps she's one of the "Vertriebenen" (who were still a hot topic when I was just a jaded kid in Munich). The word reflects the German language's creative side: they were the ethnic Germans (remember Hitler's annexing of Sudetenland...) "driven out" of Czecho after WWII, finding refuge in then-shattered Deutschland. We have a dear friend, now living in London, who as a child was a "Vertriebene" refugee -- so we are familiar with the history.
